Yes. My Natural hair products can be used on both natural and relaxed hair.
The My Natural Hair Hydrating Conditioner can be used as often as once a week. However, 4C hair thrives with weekly deep conditioning treatments. This will keep your hair healthy, bouncy, and shiny, and will prevent snagging and tangles.
Thirstier curls need a hydration mask more often than others. Those with a tighter natural curl in the 4A to 4C range tend to have hair that gets drier more often. Using the Hydration Mask is ideal for helping hair maintain optimal moisture levels in your hair.
Once you add colour into your hair it makes it more susceptible to lose moisture faster and as a result, that can make your hair fragile. When washing, combing, detangling, and even styling, you’ll want to make sure that you handle your hair with as much care as possible so as not to cause damage. In order to keep your hair as healthy as possible, you’ll want to make sure that you’ve developed a daily maintenance routine. That includes not washing your hair too much, remembering to moisturize daily, and maybe adding in a light oil like the Strengthening Oil from root to tip.
Shrinkage may have been a problem in the past, but it’s time to find comfort in knowing that it doesn’t have to be like this anymore. Anyone who’s prone to shrinkage knows how much of a bummer it can be, but twist outs and braid outs can be your saving grace, this can produce awesome textured styles for any curl type and will also help elongate your strands too. Something else that makes each of these styles beneficial is the ability to create different stretched hair styles when these get old. And while flat twist outs will deliver a more stretched look to your hair than the others, all the styles will give you what you need.
